Problem with Openbox V8s

Hi all

ive just sorted my mate the Openbox V8s box and after spending half hour trying to align the dish I managed to lock it onto a good signal strength.
Now before I left I checked it was all working every channel etc and was well until last night.
He called saying got no sub channels.
Now on the back of the box it's showing both green/yellow lights on the Ethernet port on solid not flashing........ Now is this a common fault as I've never come across this before.

Have you tried resetting your router?

Yes tryed resetting both the box router etc with no joy still.
then tryed using the wifi adaptor and boom straight on..
Baffled why it wouldn't work with the Ethernet,All the settings were correct etc
Well it's working now so if anybody else has this issue give the wifi adaptor a shot

Hi, it sounds as if its set up for wifi, you need to go into menu, Network Setting and activate Ethernet. It should work on the ethernet cable then.
