7 day epg 0ne hour out

Has anyone found a cure for the 7 day epg being an hour wrong on f5s?

Until new firmware is released, we are stuck with it.

I can't understand why it's taking so long. It's been nearly 2 months since the buggy firmware was released.

We had the same problem last year & new firmware was released to fix it, but the bug slipped back in again when the XMLTV EPG was fixed.

Yep. Working fine on my V6 as well. It's just the F3s/F5s firmware that they mucked up.

Very strange it has taken so long for a new firmware fix for this problem to be released, one wonders if skybox.cc have withdrawn support for the f5 series. It's got me tempted to buy a v8s (7 day epg works) as there only ?33 from a well known auction site. Would spend more on a better box but do wonder if time is against the 'system' these boxes use.

Oh well might decide next payday unless an update is released earlier.

I was also wondering if they couldn't be bothered with the F5s any more. They do seem to drop suport very rapidly once new models are released.

I'm thinking of getting the Zgemma twin tuner box. Everyone is raving about it at the moment...and no more channel list updates!

Skybox.cc and follow instructions in red stickies at top of forum, it very easy to do, it shouldn't be needed as there's an option to keep settings but back up (dump to USB) all important info on the box.

This epg hour thing now is taking the a bit now. V8s boxes have the fix, so why can we not have it.

Exactly the same reason Apple drops support for it's older iPhones, so it forces the owners to go out and buy the latest models. A canny business plan based around profits.

Anyway should be fixed in October when the clocks go back
