Hi back after dbox stopped working

Hi I'm astounded at the amount of boxes there is last one I had was dbox2
I've always wanted a motorised setup and be able to record plus I'm a mad Liverpool fan
So like my sports I live in Lincolnshire .
The vu+duo is seems expensive but if anyone knows a better one or has a suggestion

At the moment I'm on vm but got an old #ly dish outside.

If you have cable then why not look at a cable box, works on the same principal as a Sat box but with the bonus of the HD channels which are missing off satellite.

Can't give any more help on which cable box or how to set up as I'm not in a cable area but a search of the DK cable sub forum might provide answers.
