    f5s firmware

    Hi all,

I have one f5s set up and working perfectly so I decided to buy another one from a popular auction site, it is labelled up as a libertview and the qr code scans to the libertview website. I was led to believe that skybox.cc would still give me a firmware update that would work (drew this conclussion from reading the web) but getting version missmatch but the fact that the qr code takes me to the liberview site makes me believe it's not a clone.

The reason I need to update the firmware is I don't have a network settings tab at all I know about the 6666 thing, there is no network page at all.

Any help would be appreciated guys and gals,

    Thanks,

    nexus.

I believe that some Libertview boxes were sold with FTA firmware (for legal reasons?).

Have you tried flashing with the latest firmware from the Libertview website? I know it's from 2014, but it should give you all the menu options.

3327 is the master PIN for accessing menus that are locked with parental controls. It won't help in your case.
