Openbox v8s external hardrive

Had a external hardrive connected to my skybox f5s that worked great( pause,rewind,etc)
My skybox broke so bought a openbox v8s.
Now the hardrive connects but won't pause, rewind.
Any advise would be great

go into menu/pvr setting and change the timeshift to on and ps record to on
The pause and record will work correctly then. cheers shaun

Well I thought it was sorted. Can now pause and record but can't rewind or fast forward.
Any advise is appreciated
