    Updating Firmware xxxxx Query HELP!!

    Hi All
A newbee to the skybox world

Currently have a skybox f5 box running the latest AJ List from 01-08-15
Unfortunately cannot get bt europe or MUTV or a few other BT Sport channels working
Youtube does not work on the box either

My question is if I update the firmware will I lose the details for the xxxxx or can i update the Firmware from a reputable site (please advise) and than just update the channel list with the latest AJ List?

Basically If i update the firmware will I lose all xxxxx details?
Do I need to back up these or write these down or are they not affected

    PLEASE ADVISE

    Thanks again

My advice back everything up.....then you can do anything to the box.....if you kill it then you have everything backup

Stick a USB in ....Menu...Backup by USB.....

As mentioned above, you just need a new channel list. As for youtube, I don't think that has worked on the F5 for quite a while.

The last official firmware release for the F5 currently listed on skybox.cc is 28/3/2013, but there was originally a later one dated 23/12/2013 which was supposed to fix youtube & youp0rn, but didn't work for long.
