EPG FIX FINALLY!!

Just went to randomly try and update XMLTV and low n behold it updated!! Excellent news!! I'm on F5S

What firmware are you running?

As smirnoff_rules says, if you have the 150509 firmware, then it will work...but with the 1 hour summer time bug!

Yes that's the firmware I installed last week.

So is there a fix that gives the correct time in epg or is the -1 hour the best you can get at moment.

I believe there is a new firmware for the V8s box :- OPENBOX_V8S_3511HD_CMT_15081006BD.
Not s ure if it fixes the epg prob though. As anyone tried it.

Yes the V8s update works fine,as I used that over a week ago on my V8s box.

The time problem is on the F5s box

Found channels that had no info on at all using this , reverted back to the normal now and next myself.

the XML TV is give a 7 days tv guide of the programmes. if you want the latest firmware go to skybox.cc or the link in this post and you can get the XML TV working.

Hi I have been using the xml TV guide for a few months now but for the last few days it has stopped updating, so I have no info on TV guide at present. even when I do it manually by pressing red button.
would anyone know if it's because I need to do a firmwear update?

What box have you got?

If it's been working OK up until the last few days, then you don't need a firmware upgrade.

Still working on my V6 & F5s (with summer time bug of course).

Do you get any error messages when you try to update?

Hi I got the v8se box. When I try to manually update the EPG I get a error code saying EPG download Failed
