f3 keeps going to L100, synchronizing STBS please reset target help

My skybox f3 keeps going to L100 then restarting,
I am trying to flash with null modem cable but the software keeps stating synchronizing STBS please reset target, even if i restart the box the box keeps cycling to L100

any assistance would be greatly appreciated
