New Official Skybox F5S/F3S Software Released 08/09/15

Skybox has released a new official version of software for the F3S and F5S boxes dated the 8th September with the release note saying that it fixes a bug in the boxes. It doesn't say what bug so I assume it is the epg one hour incorrect bug but I have not tested it yet to verify it. This software is available on their official website but I have also posted it here merely for everyone's convenience. It should also work on sister brands of the same Skybox models e.g. Memobox, Libertview, Openbox etc but will change the startup splash screen to a Skybox one.

Please note that any software upgrade is carried out at the user's own risk and it is highly recommended that all files should be backed up before performing an upgrade.

I also see a V8 firmware update that is dated 08/09/15 but can some one tell me what the actual fixes are for this release

Fixes are for you~~~~ and the EPG both now working ok on my F5s. not tried on the V8s yet.

Not fixed epg on f5s box still 1 hour behind.

Yes after testing this software I can agree and confirm that the only bug fixed is the Youp*rn app and that the Epg is still displaying information that is one hour behind the correct time. What a total disappointment!

I have the EPG showing the correct time. Try deleting all your EPG data and re-download, also check your time settings.

Just tried it myself. Still got the "Summer Time" bug.

lincsat & ALAN 1...not sure how you got your EPG working. The firmware says "S_F3S_F5S_15073006AC_you~~~~", so I assume that it's just a you~~~~ fix.

Although the firmware was posted yesterday, notice the date of the firmware (30/7/15).

I've attached a photo (taken at 14:07) while Dctors is on BBC1. Notice the EPG is showing what was on an hour ago (BBC News & weather).

Have you unrar the downloaded file first, before putting on the USB?

This is the first time I've needed to update the firmware in my F5S, due to BT Sport HD changes.

Anyway, quick question - when I used to press the "ok" button on the remote a lovely big box used to pop up with all the channels listed in a grid, but now all I get is an annoying scrollable list.

Is there any setting I can change to get the aforementioned "box grid" of channels back?

edit: using AJ's list and I see that Premier Sports HD has disappeared yet Setanta HD is still there, is there no more Premier Sports HD for us?

Press M/P button on remote. Select GUI Config (last icon). Change "whole" to "three".

I also made a comment about no Premier Sports HD channel in AJ's channel list sticky thread, but he didn't reply. Both Premier & Setanta Sports show the same programmes most of the time. I think the only difference is the 3pm KO's on Saturday.
