v6s puzzled

i got a new v6s box

had no issues before

this box for some odd reason only plays some channels
when i insert the gift and reboot

doesnt play all of the channels. not scrambled nothing. just says no signal or remains black screen

checked network and its ethernet and green so its fine

box was new and i didnt edit nothing.

i have since tried to upload the latest firmware successfully from www.skybox.cc (although says openbox on it its the same as the skybox v6s)

what is wrong with it?


just the channels show no signal or black yet bbc plays perfectly

used AJ's list and cwaites.

could it be the satelite settings or something? i have never adjusted these ever

Hi to find out if the box is seeing the channel from the Sat 28.2
Do a blind scan see what channel it picks up....if it pick the all up then nothing wrong with the dish or cable
Then you know its the setting on the box
or even the box knacked

Also after 60 post you would of thought you have read the rules about G**ts & S**V**s & on or off L**e....It all comes under C/S talk

from my gathering when you flash the box it doesnt save the settings. you start from scratch.

Just do a blind scan see if you get all the channels
If yes then i'm sure you will find the correct setting with google
or a member will point you in the right direction
