Sly box query

A neighbour of mine got rid of his sly subscription and now tells me that he has no channels at all. While I'm handy with satellite boxes (technomate/humax etc.) I've never dealt with a sly box before. To be honest, I haven't checked his sly box or his tv yet to see if he has any of the free to air channels but my query is... if he has no channels what so ever is there a scan button or how would I get the free to air stuff back for him, He is on sly via satellite dish. Thank you in advance.

**************have a look at this video but u need sat list on a usb stick try ajs sat list google it download it put on usb stick follow video that should get channel list up if you only get fta channels pm me for info .

Link removed please read our rules regards CAMs etc. Plus the OP's query is regards a subbed box as opposed to a "Skybox".

It solves my problem exactly as I see it.
