There seems to be a lot of good members having problem's getting there box back up & running i would like to help
I've got a few hours free time at the weekend reasons i will not go in to....

Please note .......
I work Mon - Fri & this will only be done at the weekend no Exceptions

I will not do this via post...just in case the box goes missing in the post.....can of worms comes to mind

i will do 5-6 boxes at a time.......over the weekend Once this quota is full then you would have to wait till the week after.

Again this will not be done by post.....you would need to drop the box off before Friday & collect after the weekend...i'm in the WA9 area
All i need is you to drop the box off with the remote/box & power lead

The service i provide is FREE.....My time is FREE.......My help is FREE.......it takes 20 mins to bring the box back to life
the only thing it will cost you is the petrol/taxi/bus costs to Get to me

What i will do to your box
Install the new firmware
Install Aj's or C waite's channel list your choice
The rest is down to you.........I will not install anything else on the box....

If the box is bricked with the errors.......

Box Stuck on L0AD
Box Stuck on E001
Box Keeps Rebooting
Stuck on L0AD after update a new channel list

Again this is a free there is NO charge for this..........

I'm just trying to help other members fix there boxes ....so they don't have to replace them
the only part of this that will be done via PM is my contact number.......so members can get my address to drop the box off....

i would buddy but what if it goes missing.......have You ever used the great R/M service....If the PG Tips monkeys miss place it.....

What happens then....i get call a thief & people ask me to replace the box......... As i say it would be a can of worms

OK i have an openbox v8s i own a null modem cable pc with rs232 com port my bricked v8s wont work with the only one piece of firmware in the downloads section and i cant find a dump of the original factory firmware on this forum can anyone help or do i have to go join another forum to find what i should be able to find here which i have always done.

hi pal quick query for you, have a f3s (external power supply12v ) sometimes gets to ld 35/40 goes blank a slight ticking sound can be heard from box, any ideas.
i have tried a different power supply, no diff, tried to put firmware on but get stb mem error, have all correct cables etc.
