Possible external channel streaming??

Hey guys,

Has you can guess i'm fairly new here.
I have a question though that i cant seem to get a definitive answer too.

Is it possible to stream a channel to an external source? for example Setanta show 3PM premier League kick offs, is it possible to share this with a friend of mine so he can watch it off a laptop or PC at home?

if so can someone tell me how and what software or tools i would need for it to happen.

You can't on the sky boxes I'm Afraid but it's possible on other better boxes.

Do you happen to know what boxes you can do it on? I've been looking at one of them ZGemma ones. I've currently got a V8S and it serves a purpose but freezes everytime i got to change channel and scroll through.

Yes zgemma can do it. Don't know how reliable over Internet.

Hmmm, my upload speed is around 8MB plus i am running it off a wired connection so it should be hitting max. I'll take a look into these ZGemma boxes then.
