box just got a black screen

hi any help would be would be appreciated I have 2 open box v6 bought with v8 firmware put a gift in and list everything ok then the picture went after a few months but the gift still online and subtitles working on movie channels but as I say just a black screen can any one please help its in my kids room and there driving me mad

Does it say no signal or anything on the screen?
