    Openbox V8S Mods?

    Hi,

I have just recently bought an Openbox V8S and was wondering if there are any mods and cool other things that I might not know that is actually either very useful or 'cool'?

    Thanks.

Unfortunately the v8s has a closed firmware so doesn't support mods, skins, plugins or other user apps.

One thing the v8s does have which is kinda cool is its ability to stream IPTV feeds.

Update firmware to the latest from Yojiatech, so all future firmware and channel lists can be updated over the network. Leave a USB stick in the back and use the XMLTV EPG. Add the 0282E.ics file so you can use picons for your channels. Press M/P on remote > GUI Config change value from 'whole' to 'three' > exit > ok. Give a better on screen display of your channels!

Getting the m3u list for the v8s WebTv app is the problem, I haven't seen an up to date one for ages.
