    AEROPLANES INTERUPTING SATALITE SIGNAL

when the planes take off from the airport, they seem to be rite in the line of my satalite signal. i get the scrambled message for about 6 to 9 seconds now this happens every time, has been doing this for 9 months , now its getting to the point that it is not worth watching the tv at all does any member on the forum have any ideas how i can deal with this its so annoying

Share close the airport. Or buy an anti-aircraft machine gun.

Hi are you getting No signal or Scrambled......2 different things
is your dish a standard sly one ??

If so a bigger dish might help you get a better signal

Its part & parcel of objects flying in between the signal & the dish it cannot be helped
same when you have a heavy down pour

Oh dear, knew I should have put one of those smiley face things after my comment, it might have saved you crying like a baby and throwing your toys out of the pram, anyway the point about cable is valid, if your in a cable area, switching to a cable box might be the answer.

                  Good point by p&d
Scrambled and no signal is 2 diffrent things.

Does it happen on free to air channels like bbc1

I doubt a plane travelling at that speed would affect the signal

Bigger dish would help if it is no signal.
