    skybox f3 not booting

    guys

    have a skybox f3 that is not booting(well it boots then soon as it reachs 100%it starts all over again, and keeps repeating). Should i load a new firmware onto it? and if so can that be done via USB? or is my box done

      No the box cannot be flashed via USB

          Could also be due to a short circuit in the LNB cable. Does it boot OK with the LNB cable removed? If so, you could remove the LNB F plug, cut off an inch & redo the plug.

          It could also be due to failing capacitors on the power supply board. The tops of the capacitors should all be flat (as in the photo). If any are bulging, then they need replacing. They are the 6 black tubular componets with silver tops on the right of the photo. You might be able to see them through the grill in the top cover.
