    Help the aged

    Hi,
I have just bought an Openbox v8s set top box to replace a freeset box that died. I have sorted out the normal channels but wondered if anyone can point me to an "idiot`s guide" to web tv. I am in my sixties so plain english would be a bonus as I am lost in threads that talk about clines??? and other files. I have a list of channels when I open the web tv app but nothing works when I highlight and choose OK. Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers

For the Webtv follow the excellent advice posted by Hadron to install the m3u feeds and use the web address middots3 posted to get the m3u feeds in the link below.

Hi all Hope someone can help me out. I would like to add my own m3u list for webtv on my v8s. Could anyone guide me in the right direction on this. The box already has English, French, German etc on there but many of them don't work. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Cheers everyone.

Unfortunately talk about lines or gifts isn't allow on the forum due to the forum rules, but google the term will hopefully find you the answers.

One last thing, if you lose channels ie it say's 'no signal' this could mean the channel frequency has changed so you would need to install a new channel list, get the list here

The latest CWAITE (previously sattv5) Sky Numbered Channel Lists can be found here. (http://cwaite.dyndns.tv) We now have an ALL Channels section in Favourites which contains all of the channels together (except the Non working HD channels and the test section)with no gaps, to get to this Press FAV on your Satellite Remote

and a guide to install here
