Libertview v8 EPG AUTO UPDATE

Hi got a libertview v8 just wondered is there a fix for automatic updates yet, i can manually update the epg by scrolling through the epg section then putting the box into standby for the epg to update , just wondered if there is a fully automatic fix without having to scroll through the menus thanks

Not that I know of, the only way I could get xmltv autoupdate to work was once I had flicked the 'autoupdate' to on was always to keep the power on the box and at night put the box to 'standby' for it to update. If I ever turn the power fully off this feature was lost until I re-setup the autoupdate again by flicking the 'autoupdate' to off then back to on.

Thanks Martin i have the "autoupdate" selected , so does yours auto update without scolling through the menu , for it to update when you put it in standbyon its own fully automatic thanks

I don't like leaving electrical items in 'standby' at night so I was always either doing manual updates or resetting the autoupdate, in the end I just got a Zgemma box and haven't has an EPG problem since.
