i have reflashed my skybox f5 but when switch it on it says no signal on my tv any ideas why this is happening

all the leads are pluged in

Make sure the cable is not in the loop connection

Do you have the blue screen with no signal ?

No signal = sat cable normally check the F connector

Is it the TV itself showing the "no signal" message, or the F5?

If it's the TV, then the F5 HDMI output might be in a resolution that your TV cannot recognise. Try connecting by scart or composite to the TV & then trying different video resolutions in menu > system setup > TV system > video resolution until you get an output on HDMI.

If you don't have a scart lead or composite (phono) lead, try the following:-

Press the V.FORMAT button. Within 5 seconds press it again. Wait 5 seconds to see if the picture appears. (This will change the video resolution to the next one in the list). If you still get no HDMI output, press V.FORMAT button again, within 5 seconds press it again. Wait 5 seconds to see if the video appears. Keep trying this until you get a picture.
