    help needed for techno numpty

In need of so help please from a newbe who hasn't got a clue!

I have a zgemma h.2s box with sky skin. I have a micro card for pause/record live tv.. The thing is, its showing an error message when pauses and then I have to exit to remove message but it won't resume play.. (Hope that makes sense) I don't have a scooby on how to fix this. If anyone could help (preferably in dumb speak) I'd really appreciate it.. Thanks in advance

we need to know what image you are using and have you set the buffer correctly in the recording section of the menu, It could also be the SD card is not up to it what class is the SD card

Image??? The sd card is a 128 gb it records fine, just get an error message saying......"creating hardlink to timeshift file failed! the filesystem on your timeshift device does not support hardlinks. Make sure it is formatted in EXT2 or EXT3. [ Errno 1] operation not permitted..

Here's a punt... Try doing what it says in the error message.
