Picture Quality

Hi All, Had the open box for a few days now V8s and pretty pleased so far. Managed to sort out all I need to.

The only thing is that I am a little surprised about is the picture quality on HD channels such as BBC. It just does not look right even though it says 1080i on info. I used to stream everything before and BBC HD was much better quality over the net to my 42inch.

I'm not moaning or anything as the Mrs will watch anything in any quality but I am just left wondering why it's not so good.

I am not sure if I am missing something or have not set something up properly so just thought I would ask the question.

Hi buddy the box is at the cheap end of the market....as they say you get what you paid for mate

If you want a better quality picture the box needs to be a better one........there are a few at the cheap end ?60-70
but a different system than the plug & play box you have now.

They need a lot more input from the user.........but if your willing to learn search the forum for E2 system (Enigma 2)

Sure man thanks for help. I will live with it as I can't complain for the price to be honest. I have ordered two more anyway for parents etc.

But may upgrade later in the year maybe. It does what it does and I guess it's good enough for now.
