Having issues with new virgin super hub connection

It is the super hub 3 and I just got the hub it is brand new out of the box.

have you tried putting the hub in modem mode only and tried using a separate wireless router ..?? as the hub is known for issues

That hub 3 chooses its own wifi network one min it could be on 5g and the next it jumps to 2.4g. Thats why i didnt get one of them. That maybe your wirless issue but not sure on your wired connection. I would swap back to the normal router if i were you.
