Channel 5 EPG

Is there any way to correct this problem regarding the EPG when you select C5 ? There is no program description as you change to the channel, I was wondering if this can be fixed?

Im using AJ's list but the problem has been on going on since just after xmas?

Toe m8, put up with it for bit longer as channel 5 HD is going to be on freeview and freesat soon, hopefully this will fix the epg problem.

Its just strange how the zgemma boxes are fine but openbox have this problem? thought there may be a blindscan but like u say, maybe best waiting for the HD to land!

Zgemma's use a different source for their epg data ie Crossepg use sky UK opentv and xmltv uses rytec. Openbox's use a different xmltv source which unfortunately is control by the firmware and the user can't change it.

Toe m8, channel 5 HD now clearing on 10964 h 22000 or channel 1204 on cwaite's channel list, my Zgemma is pulling in the EPG data via Crossepg for the channel so perhaps redownload the xmltv epg on the openbox and see if your lucky.

CWAITE's latest list has Channel 5 HD on channel 171, Channel 5 HD is still encrypted but is not paired to the box, therefore it may clear on some boxes and may not on other boxes, depending on if the person that supplies the magic stuff to the box has configured their magic server to allow it.
