PDF or Word List of Channels

Sorry if this sounds stupid or anything but i have recently switched to Openbox V8s.

Lastest channel lists are installed/updated etc but my kids are around and rather than them going though the EPG all the time i just wanted to see if someone has a list in either PDF/excel/Word that shows all the channels and their numbers.

Total newbie to all this but been searching for a while and cant find anything!

    Cheers

Cwaites are S*y numbered so any phone app will give you the channel number you want or even the S*y TV listing guide

The latest CWAITE (previously sattv5) Sky Numbered Channel Lists can be found here. (http://cwaite.dyndns.tv) We now have an ALL Channels section in Favourites which contains all of the channels together (except the Non working HD channels and the test section)with no gaps, to get to this Press FAV on your Satellite Remote

If you want to print your own channel list, then there is a way to do it. You will need to download Mediabox Editor Studio to do it. You will also need to either have the downloaded list saved to your drive, or dump the channel list from your box.

This is the basics of how I produced a printable version of a Skybox/Openbox channel list:-

          1) Change the channel list extension from .dbs to .abs.
          2) Import the channel list into Mediabox Editor Studio using ALi Gen.NoCAS.
          3) Export as a text file.
          4) Open text file with notepad.
          5) Select all text & then select "Copy".
          6) Paste into Microsoft Excel.
          7) Copy & paste the first 2 columns from Excel into Microsoft Word
          8) Change No. of columns, page setup, column widths etc. to suit (I left top margin at 2.5cm, but changed L, R, & bottom margins to 2cm & columns to 3).

If you want to tidy the list up a bit more (as a lot of the +1 channels take up 2 rows), you can change the number column to something like 0.5cm in "Table Properties" (after selecting left/right, or middle justification for that column).

It should also work with the equivalent programs of "Excel" & "Word" in Open Office or Libre Office (both free programs).

If you want to save as a pdf, then Open Office or Libre Office can export the file as a pdf.

You can also Export from Mediabox Editor Studio as a .csv file & open with Microsoft Excel, but it may not seperate correctly. You may need to import it as data & manually select the seperator (semicolon).

I have attached the channel list that I am currently using (AJ's 5/3/16).
