    Help tethering

    Hey guys, don't know if this is the right section but thought I would at least try and get some help.

    So my mobile home site just recently got wifi (soo much cheaper than paying for a sim) however there's a login page and only 3 devices can be connected to the one account.

    Was just wondering if there is any possible way to share the wifi from my laptop to my Skybox F5s via either ethernet or wifi?

    I have already tried the windows share connection and also tried using Connectify.

    I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas? I think I may need to match the Skybox network setup settings with the ones from my laptop?

    Any help is greatly appreciated! Cheers!

    Have you had a look at a VAP11G-300 for your WIFI connection plug it into a WIFI router and connect your devices via the router.
    Use this method on hols with WIFI connection which only allows one IP connection.

        Quick google search found this;
        Code:
         [FONT=Arial]Allow the laptop to connect through DHCP automatic to get its IP and subnet and gateway as well as DNS. Now go to [/FONT]Properties | Share[FONT=Arial] and enable "share this Internet connection". Open LAN port properties and manually add IP address/subnet/DNS with the same ranges as the wireless, but they must be [/FONT][I]static[/I][FONT=Arial]. Now go to the PC needing the Internet which is plugged into the laptop's LAN; this will also be static. Put the IP address in the same range as well as the subnet. Here's the change: put in the laptop's LAN IP that you configured in the gateway and first DNS, then fill in the laptop's DNS as the secondary DNS. This should now give you your connection to the interweb! Enjoy[/FONT][COLOR=#222426][FONT=Arial].[/FONT][/COLOR]
