F5S channels not clearing and more lol

so ive added the necessary, but the channels arent clearing, i can download the epg (through ehternet) so i know its connected to the 'net......despite my router showing an orange led, got a constant green and flashing orange on the back of the box, the line is showing as offline but has a tick beside it, i know the line is active as ive trie it on my duo, what obvious thing as i missing?

ps the orange led on the router turns green when i use the same cable and port on the duo, its only orange with the F5S

is the DHCP off on the box if so switch it on.
or try switching router off and box off, switch router on and wait 5mins then switch box on, could be ip conflict.

just to be sure try a different network cable also.
what firmware is on box, is it factory? or have you re-flashed it?

Sill question but are you using the same "necessary part"
on both boxes at the same time ?

What P&D means is keep one box disconnected and try the other, most of the "PERSONS"offering service only allow one box at a time...

have you got a backup of original firmware, flash that back and try that.

no backup, box was in the loft for over a year so things have expired and frequency's changed etc

im sure its not connecting to the router proberlly hence the orange light on the router but it managed to download the epg
