f5s clone image

mates f5s is freezing a lot and have tried to update firmware but keep getting file mismatch so i reckon its a clone,is there anywhere where i can download an image file to try before i tell him to bin the box

Where did you get the firmware from ?
are you sure its a not a clone & you just using the wrong firmware

What makes you think its a clone ?

The same happens if you try to put clone firmware on a box that's not a clone

so the big question where has the firmware comes from & are you sure its for the F5S & not the F5
