Openbox not receiving FTA channels via a 5 x 8 multi switch

    Hi
I have two Openboxes connected to seperate output ports of a 5 x 8 multi switch. A 4 port lnb feeds the 4 inputs. One box works perfectly but the other gets very low signal strength on FTA channels but all subscription channels work fine. Have tried different outputs but get the same result. Have swapped the Openboxes over and get the same results (the problem does not move with the box). Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Why 4 feeds from the dish if you have only 2 boxes ?
    surely you only need two

No talk about the $ channels or threads get closed

A multi-switch needs 4 feeds from the LNB. Each feed is used for a different band/polarity setting (hi band/vertical, hi band/horizontal, low band/vertical, low band/horizontal). Perhaps john jones is "future proofing" in case he installs more boxes.

@john jones...if the problem does not move with the box when you swap them, and it's the same when you try each port, then it can only be the cable between the box & switch. You could try redoing the F connectors at each end of the low signal cable to see if that helps.
