EPG Problem: XMLTV Showing Wrong Time

    Hi All,

Noob here, so please be gentle.

Recently purchased a v8s and I'm having a problem with the EPG: The program times show as 1 hour out of sync. The program listing shows the current program at -1 hour on all channels.

I have read as much as I can find about this (before posting here) and this is what I have done so far:

Flashed firmware (flashed with the most recent from this site and also tried the clone firmware in case I have a clone)
Updated channel list (tried both cwaite and AJs)
Turned on 'Summertime' setting in menu (tried both ON and OFF before dowloading EPG each time)
Updated EPG (made sure I have USB formatted to FAT32, fresh format of USB, USB in box all the time)
Rebooted box after each of the steps above
Left box on standby overnight (and all other times)

These were all the steps I have seen flagged up in other threads hers and elsewhere

I'm now at a bit of a loss for anything else to try.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    C J

The only thing atm you can do is turn summer time off and the utc to 00.00 and then your time will be an hour behind but at least you will be able too see whats on now.

        Hi All,
Same problem here, not the summer (daylight saving) issue, as it has been fine until the last week or so.
I guess it is the xml source ?

          Hi All,

          Thanks for the replies.

I too suspect that it is the source that is incorrect as changing settings on the box does not appear to actually amend the listings themselves.

@ portvalefanjosh - Thats what i'm doing at the moment, so thanks for the suggestion.
@ arm74 and cmwb - Thanks for the input - I'm kind of glad that its not just me that having the issue (at least it appears that i'm not just doing something stupid!!)
