Openbox V8s freezing on sky channels

Hi I have recently purchased a open box, all the standard or normal channels work fine. The sky channels freeze sometimes, only for a few seconds. Anyone had, or have this problem?
I have sky fibre broadband which runs around 38Mbps when tested.

The support form the guy I bought it off has been great, I have tried a few things he has suggested but still seem to have this freezing issue.

Are you using wifi or home plugs.....or wired ?

I get some pixilation/freezing on some channels and put this down to the "nature of the beast". I use BT fibre optic Broadband which is quite fast so not sure that is to blame. Standard Normal channels are usually ok too.

Had a few of these, quite good for the price. Only come with one Ethernet, why? I don't know.

Stupid question time ..... Am i correct in thinking that the homeplugs have to be plugged directly into the wall socket and wont work plugged into an extension cable ?

It will work in an extension lead however they do recommend directly into the wall

It could also be that the gift you have on your box, which links to a sever has 1000s of other people, Checking the E.C.M = ( electronic counter measures ), Hence pixilation / freezing. But Thats is Normaly the problem, There may be a problem with your router via the Wifi. Ive been in the game for a nunber of years, When i brought out the blocker in the 80's.
