    Adding another skybox?

I already have a skybox running perfectly in one room. I would like to buy another for my grandson to use in his room, apart from the box what do I need to do at the dish end of things (if anything?) so that both boxes can be viewed at the same time but watching different channels on each box. Do I need to install another dish?.....Any advice in setting this up would be appreciated.

Is the dish an old $ly one ?

If so the LNB (the part where the cable goes in) normally has more than one connection(depending on when the dish was installed)

Just run another cable from the dish to the room you want the 2nd box in.........Job sorted

Thanks mate! Was thinking I was going to have to order a new LNB.....having read this and then had a look I can see that I can run another cable from my existing LNB.....Cheers!. -Das

I assume your friend is a sly employee, if so they will not be given information about cs, top employees at sly will find out about encryption/card changes before engineers do but thats about it..any anti-cs measures are always unknown...even nds/cisco employees wont know unless at the top when/how regarding cs.

Your right about one thing tho...certainly wont last forever
