    VPN

Hi, is it necessary to use a VPN. I've been advised to get one when using a skybox. I've been using my skybox without one for a good while now. Where do people stand on this matter. Cheers

No never used one for the day to day running of a satellite box, I know some who run kodi direct or IPTV player on an enigma2 box swear by VPN's to get more working streams.

Cheers for the reply, so you wouldn't recommend getting one for general use, using a skybox, streaming off showbox etc for safety reasons. It's not a cost thing that put me off it's more the fact I'm not that clued up about them plus I've heard some VPN's can affect the speed of your broadband.

You'll be fine mate as martin says only people running kodi or iptv use them

You can use a VPN on your Router, so all activity is through the VPN or you can use it on a device, like a PC, phone or Enigma2 box. You can even just use it on an app, like P2P or your browser.
