V5s issues

Hi all
I have an open box v5s comes up to say it's connect to Internet but won't connect to nothing including YouTube you~~~~ or weather app. And I can only get fta channels.
Any ideas?

Bump anyone? Would a firmware update be needed the firmware is April 2014 is this the latest?

Tha latest firmware on the skybox.cc website is dated 2015/09/08 so a new firmware is available.

As to your other problem try turning your box and route off, have a cups tea then switch both back on. If your network apps still don't work then try a xmltv epg download, if any work then it's not a problem with your internet.

No idea what an xmltv epgdownload is this a channel list? If so it has a fresh list on. Prity sure its not an Internet issue as I have a zgemma box working 100%

XMLTV EPG is what you need to download to give you an EPG that shows more than just now/next.

You need a memory stick to be inserted to download the data on.

Go to menu > system setup > EPG & time setting. Change EPG default setting to Internet (XMLTV). Scroll to "XMLTV setting". United Kingdom should already be highlighted. Press red button to update. The EPG should now download & save to your memory stick. It will take a few minutes.

My mate has download firmware for openbox what's the difference between this and skybox?
