    What I'm asking is , what box to get as looking on here it's a bit confusing ,meats the difference between the zgemma ( which I'm leaning towards )and other boxes , I've also seen not to get one from eBay etc , and how easy is it to set up etc
    thanks in advance

      if you want all the Features of the original receiver then subscribe to $ky as there is no 3rd party satellite receiver on the market that can match it, Most of the Linux ones come close but no cigar.

      Entering into Linux Enigma2 can be very frustrating at the best of times but trying to set it up to emulate what $ky+ can do will give you a headache and you will be permanently tinkering to get things spot on.

      So based on what i just said if your a Tinkerer get a Linux Receiver if you want the ease of $ky+ subscribe

          Twin tuner so you can record one channel and watch other channel. A box that has decent image support and start of cheap and progress from there. Plenty of help will come when you ask just don't expect it instantly.

              If you're on a budget then get;
              Zgemma H2s if you have twin satellite feed
              Zgemma Hs if you have only a single satellite feed

              you will also need a USB stick drive or HDD, bigger the better but minimum of 8gb for your recordings and EPG
