    V8 Golden terrorzing superhub 3

Morning all l , I have just got my v8 golden and have just spent two days without success to get the bleeding thing to work with the superhub 3 . Every time I connect it , be it wired or wireless , within a minute it will lose channels and my hub will just reboot. I have tried moving the hub next to my box , tried static ip, left the firewall off tried my hub in modem mode .I tried cat 6 cable cat 5e . Still the same outcome. The only way I have got it running is to tether it to my mobile connection , which is not ideal! I'm am worn out and may be thinking this might be a wasted venture. Just wondering if any of you experts has come a cross this before and can help me solve this problem?

    Thanks .

m8, hows your signal leval? check that, also didant know vermin did a superhub3? but anyway if your signal is ok then turn off the firewall on the hub and try that, also if you have any splitter's take them off and run a straight feed to the hub, see how that goes.......................c

Signal of sat feed? Fluctuates but on the Golden its, I would say low 90s for quality and strength. They do its white. I tried a straight feed from hub to golden but still had the same and turned off firewall. Even in modem mode it rebooted the hub ( which I thought was odd) All fta channels are fine with no issues. There just seems to be some conflict. Cheers for the reply Chris.

sorry m8 I thought u said u where on cable, should have known better when u said v8,, ok try a brute force re, scan of channel's, if still the same take the hub off line and just try box using dish and see how that is, if all channel's r ok then i would be looking at your hub for the problam.................c

What's a brute force scan? My feeling is its the hub but I just hoped someone else has had said problem. Everything is fine when I pull the ethernet out. And fta channels are fine.

That new super hub 3 uses both wifi 5g and 2.4 and auto switches between each one. So make sure its a wired connection, as the wireless on them are pants. Everyone i know whos had a super hub 3 has sent them back and asked for the super hub 2 back instead.

5g ? earliest estimates for 5g are 2020, please enlighten me on 5g, even if the hub used 5g wifi what mobile can use 5g ?

m8, go into menu and go to mutli satellite search, scroll down to scan mode and select blind scan/preset scan, try both of these and see if that helps, also if you use preset scan make sure network search is on..................c

It does not matter what settings it's on, it just reboots when ever the V8 is connected to the superhub.

m8 it sounds to me like u have a faulty router, now this is wot u need to do, because the router works ok when box is not connected vermin will say there is nothin wrong with the router and they will be rite, the only time u r gettin any fault is when u connect the box to it but u cant tell that to vernim, so this is wot u need to do, take the feed out of the back for about half an hour, and with the feed still out phone vermin and tell them u have no internet they will run a check on your router and ask u to do some checks like unplug router and re,boot, but at no time do u put the feed back into the router until they say we will send u out another router, only then put feed back in and use router as normal, thats the only way round this prob, hope this helps ya.......................................c

Yeah I'm going to ring them and just tell them it's dead, I'll just unplug the bleeder. They will be able to see that it's been rebooting like crazy this past week. I'm out of contact with them as well so if they hum and ha, I'll just tell them I'm off. There is a known bug at the moment with the superhub 3 where it will lose connection in modem mode, ( I only just found that out) So I have that to fall back on also.
