flickering!!

can anyone help please , I have a openbox vs8 and a onkyo receiver , and I have found out finally that the onkyo receiver makes the picture flicker . When I turn everything on its ever couple of seconds then after about 30mins its only now and then , Can anyone out there help me with the issue please, here's hoping!! Many thanks in advance

hi thanks for your reply. I have one hdmi cable feed from tv to onkyo then one hdmi cable to open box from the onkyo hope this makes sence to you

Have you tried bypassing the Onkyo receiver and fed the receiver directly into the TV and monitored what the outcome is that way, Also worth updating the Onkyo receivers firmware to see if there was an HDMI handshake problem that could be fixed with an update
