which are you using the satellite downloaded epg or the internet downloaded one XMLTV? Which ever you are using try the alternative in the settings, I prefer XMLTV personally.

I don't have a box in front of me set up at the moment as I'm playing about with an old dreambox 500, hopefully someone else can check, but it's not difficult, go into settings and look about.

I don't have my Openbox connected at the moment either, but found these instructions on my hard drive:-

Insert a memory stick into your skybox

              1. Press Menu on Skybox Remote control
              2. Press the right arrow button until you see System Setup
              3. Press OK
              4. Press down arrow to highlight EPG and Time Setting
              5. Press OK
              6. With EPG Default Setting highlighted it should say Satellite
              7. Press right arrow once and it should change to Internet(XMLTV)
              8. Press Down arrow to XMLTV Setting
              9. Press OK
              10. Press right arrow to turn ON auto update on United Kingdom
              11. Press RED button update
              12. After about 2 minute the percentage bar will be 100% (Update Success, ALL Finished!)depending on your internet connection
              13. Now Keep Pressing exit until you return to TV programme

*EPG WILL AUTO UPDATE WHEN SKYBOX IS TURNED OFF
NOTE: MEMORY STICK NEEDS TO BE CONNECTED ALL THE TIME FOR 7 DAY EPG TO WORK

Does your box have the latest firmware?

This error affected a lot of boxes with older firmware. Have a look here for latest firmware:-

I have been trying all day to update a skybox f3 to do this but number 4 on your list epg and time settings is only time settings. I am thinking my 2013 firmware may be the reason but the official skybox site doesnt list firmware past this date, any ideas?
A wise old owl lived in an oak.
The more he saw the less he spoke.
The less he spoke the more he heard.
Why can't we all be like that wise old bird?
