F3 wifi problem

First my f3 is working perfectly ok, except a rather frustrating aspect. When the box loses wifi it doesn't always reconnect, I have to reboot the box for it to reconnect back to wifi. Any ideas on a fix for this, or is it something I have to put up with. Wandering if there's a bit of software to fix this...

are you using a new type wifi dongle or an old one ,ive got both my f3 doesn't like the old one a few years old ,but the new one about six months old works great ,
