Openbox V8s - channel table issues via usb

Hi there
This is becoming a headache for me so wanted some advice

I am trying to update the channel table in the v8s box. It's one which l have edited myself using media box editor studio

I had no issues before today, but each time l try and update the table, using the normal procedure after a reboot - it reverts back to the default channel table.

Using the network option - the updates correctly but l can't update the channel table via USB - any ideas to why this is the case - as its driving me nuts...

Used the USB stick in another openbox v8s and that updates without any issues

Chaps, l need to help to Understand why this box doesn't update correctly via USB and l have also reloaded the firmware and performed a factory reset - but no joy

Back to the drawing board for me, l downloaded an older file and that worked fine so it's down to me to reconfigure another file

I dumped my V8S channel to USB, but then found that I couldn't restore it back to openbox (reverse job) so what's the point in backing up in the FIRST place?!
