Sound keeps going off

A friend of mine has got an openbox v8s but 1st thing in the mourning when he turns it on the sound is off for about an hour,anybody any idea why this is?

Try the HDMI remove and put back. If no joy try reinstalling the firmware.

i had the same issue he needs change his hdmi cable and then connect it to the 1st port when he does
