THought I'd put this out there as I can't see that it's been discussed before. Has anyone tried, or even thought of trying, flashing the zgemma or dreambox firmware and software onto an Openbox?
Thought behind this is that zgemma and dreambox offer much better epg's in comparison to the openbox. I'm thinking that if you take the openbox as a blank piece of equipment then the specs seem to show it could handle the zgemma interface.
I know easy option if you want zgemma or dreambox epg is to go out and buy one but this thread is more about if it can rather than just buying new.
Theoretically what would need to be done to even trial doing this?
