If i have been on the same channel for say 1.5 hours and turn over i lose volume. Only way to get it back is boot the box. No not with the right foot. Turn it off and on again

OK as no one could think of a reason why how about this one. When i bought my box and plugged it in the time was correct on the box when on standby/off, so i am presuming the time was set automatically through the web connection. Is this the case and why would it not change for summer time as its an hour slow now. -
these boxes don't auto change time, it has to be done manually..
