What does this all mean for open boxes? Now that sly and BT have been to court blah blah blah. Is their attempt at blocking and shutting down all kodi streams going to affect the open boxes. My understanding is very basic but I always thought that someone, somewhere was paying Sly for the pleasure of the full package and redirecting it to 'us' the subscribers to such boxes. I remember a few yrs back they blocked the HD aspect but back then that was all they could do. I also remember that they were looking at replacing all the old boxes with new HD obes in an attempt to stop the sharing. They also were looking at replacing the cards but never did. My question really is, will this new encoding system put a stop to everything? I'm pretty sure all the tech buffs will be working around the clock to get a 'fix' as always. I wonder is this really the end?

na, doubt it cant see sly shelling out all that money to upgrade the boxes to hd boxes, I mean there are a lot of peeps still using the sd boxes, that would mean sly upgrading all those peeps boxes for free, cannot see that happening any time soon........c

issue is $ky simply doesnt provide enough value for upwards of ?50 a month - and they know it. Think they'll move to a lower cost model, we all thought the EPL bubble would burst yet it hasnt. The costs of the tv rights dont reflect the product on offer. Think $ky will blink 1st as some clubs are big enough to purchase their own live match rightsComment
