On the box it came in it had one of the features as picturein picture but cant find how to work it. Nothing in the manual either.

cant see anything about picture in picture in its specs mate.. does it definitely say it on the box..?? dont forget its made in China, the Chinese to English translation doesn't always work well

can any1 tell me how to up load a channel list to my open box? ive download one onto a flash stick in winrar but thats as far as ive got wit it..

You need to use YUV & not RGB. This will bring up the higher resolution options.
