I have a starnge problem with my Openbox, I can't go into details as its against the rules but in a nutshell when I am watching an encrypted channel and the channel scrambles then I can't watch any other channel even from a better provider unless I reboot the box. Is it somthing wrong with my box ? I tried 3 or 4 patches and I have the same probem. Never had this porblem with TM500 & DM500.

don't know mate to be honest. i don't seem to have any probs but early days for me

I know what is wrong here, if I put the lines directly into my box then the problem disappears but if I put the line into the server then yes I get this problem. it is not my server because there are other lines that my box has which the emu can switch to when a channel is blocked but I think openbox doesn't handle priority and switching betwen providers as well as TM & DM.

What does it say in the version? This tells you what firmware you are on. You can find this by menu/tools/information. Version is on the fourth line.

That's a really old firmware man. If you look at it the date is in it. 31/08/10.

Do a channel dump first then put on the new firmware, then put the channels back on after

Can i use openbox firmware to orton s10?

s9 firmware will work on the orton s10 but s10 firmware will not work on the s9 i use the s10 skybox firmware it is a lot nicer looking than the s9 openbox firmware
