what exactly do up/down hops refer to?
as i understand it down hops are the number of client boxes between you and the server, am i correct?
so what are up hops?
how do they effect the client/server?

To my knowledge, uphops is how many hops away you are receiving this share from. Downhops is how many hops down from you you can share it.
