Your external IP has likely changed, that could be a factor depending on your circumstances.

i installed a new super hub a week ago, then my 500 stopped. all i did was a reboot of box, and all was fine.

500 works and blade works. just ip changed

sounds like more than just your hub.

                    by reboot i mean

                    press menu

                    shutdown

                    then reboot now

this is on gemini 4.2 image

                    what are you actually doing?

as soon as i click on reboot now a "fatal error" could not open servicefile and then reboots.

id start a fresh m8 and do a re-flash and then add the cams/configs and channel lists. i have had "fatal error" a couple of times but a re-flash with dream-up cures the problem. regards mdt

Go into network/communication settings and make sure dhcp is ticked save then switch off at the mains then turn it back on.
