    faulty dreambox thats still under 28 day warranty

    ok i brought i dm500 of a well know site that many ppl on this site use.

    i was moving the powerpack and lead to behing the cabnet then it would not power up dreambox again. there is no light on the power pack coming on so i tryed another old 1 i have and it power it up ok, but i cant use that 1 coz its only 1 amp 1.

    so my questions is
    do i just need to ask for a replacement power supply?
    or could the dreambox be damaged or cause the power pack to blow? if so should i just get full replacement?

    and do i have to pay to send goods back to the merchant?

      from fleabay? i would imagine ud have to foot p and p costs yes. SOUNDS like a ~~~~ed psu, i would send it all back anyway

              all the box's more or less come from the same places ,
              if you have a netgear modem 12vthen it test the ac on the dmbox , i have my 500s running on a old modem power brick , if you cant test it that way , just email them and there send a new one out to you buddy.

                  yeah i tested the box on a diff power supply and the box is working ok. so would the dreambox not have caused the powerpack to blow? incase it would blow my new 1?
