    DM500 vs DM800

Hiya people, im new to SAT, usually a cable guy.
I'm looking at getting 2 boxes for sky, i am wanting all the channels, well most but one thats easy to keep updated and will last a year or so.
I'm not fussed by Hd as neither tv is HD yet, i just dont want to buy something that is complex to keep update or going to die on me in 2 weeks time.
    Any suggestions would be helpful...
    Thanks

    Fave replies from various threads

1: What the fff is all that about??? All that crap below your reply I mean, get a life mate
2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about,
3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives

DM500S, Smart little box, I got one on a sky minidish and get most channels. Don't have to update software ETC, full working EPG! 3 Days.
